Synopsis:
On one stormy night, Cha Dae Woong accidently freed a nine-tailed fox who was sealed in a painting for 500 years. He did not realize what he has done though, until the nine-tailed fox (Gumiho) who took the form of a beautiful human appeared in front of him. Cha Dae Woong was so scared that he ran away and fell on the riverbank. He was severely injured so Gumiho came to save him and gave her most precious bead to share with him the mystic fox' strength, as she owes him her freedom. Gumiho then asked him if he can help her become human and how to act like one. In return, she will allow him to use her bead for 100 days- more than enough time for him to shoot for his dream action movie despite his body's severe condition. As time goes by, their mutual relationship grew deeper as they start to fall for each other. However, for Gumiho to become human seems to have a serious consequence which they later have to face.
Cha Dae Woong

A cowardly action star aspirant who grew up with his grandfather and aunt. He was usually reprimanded by his grandfather for being immature and for not living the values of human..
Gumiho
played by Shin Min Ah
A nine-tailed fox who impersonates as a young lady with beauty that captures every man's eyes. She wanted to become human and experience human life after being imprisoned in the painting for 500 years. She has strong sense of smell and hearing, great speed and strength as those of the mystic foxes'. She loves to eat meat. Her Nine tails appears under moonlight and greatly scares Dae Woong.
Park Dong Joo
played by No Min Woo
He is a veterinarian who explained to Gumiho how to become human. His clan is simliar to goblins which is weaker than mystic foxes.
Eun Hye In
played by Park Soo Jin
She is Cha Dae Woong's college senior and also his love interest. She wants to become an actress.
